What is Lifestyle Excess Protection?

Lifestyle Excess Protection is an add-on policy that helps you claim back the excess you pay when making a claim on your: Motor Home Pet Travel insurance You can make multiple claims during the policy period, as long as the total amount paid does not exceed the overall limit shown in your policy documents. What am I not covered for under my Lifestyle Excess Protection?

This policy does not cover: Claims under non-personal insurance policies Incidents that happened outside the policy period Home Emergency call-out fees or excess payments Policies that do not cover you within the correct territorial limits Claims where your excess has already been waived or reimbursed Claims involving vehicles used for: Hire and reward Racing, rallies, competitions, or trials

Are there any restrictions on my Lifestyle Excess Protection?

Yes – your cover has an overall limit (also called an “aggregate limit”). Once this limit is reached, no further claims will be paid. You will also need to provide proof that you have paid your excess, such as: A receipt A settlement letter

How do I claim my excess back?

What am I covered for under my Helmet & Leather cover?

If your claim is due to an accident or theft, your policy may cover: Protective motorcycle clothing Helmet cameras Passenger clothing European cover (if included in your policy) You can make multiple claims during the policy period, subject to your policy terms and limits. If you have an Enhanced or Ultimate policy, you may also receive a £250 cash benefit following a successful claim for damage to your protective clothing or helmet camera.

What am I not covered for under my Helmet & Leather cover?

This policy does not cover: Wear and tear or gradual damage Damage not caused by a motorcycle accident Incidents outside the policy period Use of your motorcycle for: Hire and reward Courier or delivery services Racing, rallies, competitions, or trials Theft where items were not stored securely when not in use Mechanical or electrical faults

Do I have to pay an excess?

If you have a basic policy, you will need to pay an excess. The exact amount will be shown in your policy schedule.

What do I need to do when I make a claim?

When making a claim, please ensure: Your policy payments are up to date You report the incident as soon as reasonably possible You provide proof of purchase (such as receipts) for any items you are claiming for
