A courtesy car is a temporary replacement vehicle provided by the repairing garage (selected by your insurer)
It is usually:
- A small, standard vehicle (often a 5-door manual hatchback)
- Subject to availability
- Provided only if your vehicle is repairable
- Available if you are claiming under a comprehensive policy
If you have an automatic licence, an automatic vehicle will be provided where possible.
