What am I not covered for under my Lifestyle Excess Protection?

This policy does not cover: Claims under non-personal insurance policies Incidents that happened outside the policy period Home Emergency call-out fees or excess payments Policies that do not cover you within the correct territorial limits Claims where your excess has already been waived or reimbursed Claims involving vehicles used for: Hire and reward Racing, rallies, competitions, or trials

Are there any restrictions on my Lifestyle Excess Protection?

Yes – your cover has an overall limit (also called an “aggregate limit”). Once this limit is reached, no further claims will be paid. You will also need to provide proof that you have paid your excess, such as: A receipt A settlement letter

How do I make a home insurance claim?

What should I do in the event of a claim?

In the event you need to make a claim you should: Take any necessary steps to prevent further damage to the property e.g. shut off the water supply, turn of the gas and/or electric Not dispose of any damaged items or carry out or have carried out any permanent repairs, as We may need to inspect the damage images Take images of any damaged items or property Call the police in the event of a break-in attempted break-in and get a crime reference number Contact us on 0203 738 7300 (option 4 and option 2)

Who will handle my home insurance claim?

This depends on your policy: If your policy is with One Insurance Limited, → One Call Claims will handle your claim from start to finish If your policy is with another insurer, → We may take the first notification, then pass your claim to your insurer
